Home Repair Program
Columbia Cascade Housing Corporation (CCHC) offers home repair programs throughout our service area. To be eligible, households must earn 80% area median income or below and properties must require renovation and not rehabilitation. Additional eligibility requirements will vary based on grant requirements.
Oregon Home Repair Program
CCHC currently has two home repair grant programs in Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman counties for households earning 80% area median income or below.
Oregon Homeowner Rehabilitation Program prioritizes Veterans, seniors aged 62 or older, and people with disabilities.
Oregon Health Authority’s Healthy Homes grant program seeks to improve housing conditions and health outcomes for households earning 80% area median income or below to maximize energy efficiency of residences, extend usable life of residences, and/or improve health of residents.
Washington Home Repair Program
CCHC currently has one home repair grant program in Klickitat and Skamania counties for households earning 80% area median income or below.
The Washington State Department of Commerce Home Repair Grant Program (HRGP) provides home rehabilitation grants to assist low-income clients living in rural areas to address health, safety and durability issues in their homes. This grant prioritizes persons who are senior citizens (aged 60 or older), persons with disabilities, families with children who are five years old and younger, and veterans.
